Travel Influencer Anunay Sood Died Due To Drug Overdose: Report

Travel influencer Anunay Sood, who had a massive fan following on Instagram and YouTube, has reportedly did from a suspected drug overdose during his stay at Wynn Las Vegas. As reported by 8NewsNow, the influencer was found unresponsive in his hotel room on November 4. According to the news outlet, the local police officers from Las Vegas discovered Sood in an unconscious state with narcotics located near his body. However, the Clark County coroner’s office has not confirmed the cause of death yet. The office stated that toxicology results necessary to determine whether substances played a role could take several months.

The report further suggested that a woman staying with Anunay Sood told the local investigators that they bought what they believed to be cocaine from a man on the casino floor at 4 am. She shared that she, Anunay and another woman consumed the substance before they fell asleep. When the two women woke up roughly, they saw that Anunay was unresponsive. Officers reportedly found a small bag of containing an unidentified substance. The additional evidence indicates that the substance has been snorted. As per the latest reports, no arrests have been made in connection with the alleged purchase and consumption.

Earlier in a statement to HT, the police said, “On November 4, 2025, LVMPD responded to a dead body located in the 3100 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard. Officers assisted the coroner and took a non-criminal/medical report.”

After he passed away, Anunay Sood’s family and friends said in a statement, “It is with deep sadness that we share the news of our beloved Anunay Sood’s passing, We kindly ask for your understanding and privacy as we navigate this difficult time. We humbly request you to avoid gathering crowd near personal property.” The post further read, “Please keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. May his soul rest in peace.”
