Bollywood Movies Releasing In September 2025: September promises to be an exciting month for Bollywood fans, with a mix of action, drama, thrillers and romances. From Tiger Shroff’s action thriller movie Baaghi 4 to Akshay Kumar’s witty courtroom drama Jolly LLB 3, the variety of films hitting cinemas will keep audiences entertained. Theatres will see a range of films from high-energy action blockbusters to dark comedies and heartfelt romantic dramas. Baaghi 4 (September 5)
Tiger Shroff returns with the popular action franchise. Known for its high-octane stunts and gripping fight sequences, Baaghi 4 is expected to be one of the biggest attractions this month. It also features Sanjay Dutt, Shreyas Talpade and Saurabh Sachdeva in key roles. The film has been directed by A. Harsha. The story, screenplay and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film is slated for release in theatres on September 5.
Ufff Yeh Siyapaa (September 5)
The film stars Sohum Shah, Nushratt Bharuccha, and Nora Fatehi. This unique project is a dialogue-free dark comedy thriller. The story follows Kesari Lal Singh, whose life spirals out of control when his wife suspects him of having an affair with their neighbour after a wrongly delivered drug package. What makes the film stand out is that it unfolds entirely without dialogue, using only expressive acting and a haunting musical score.
The Bengal Files (September 5)
The third and final part of Vivek Agnihotri’s Files Trilogy, The Bengal Files follows The Tashkent Files and The Kashmir Files. This instalment focuses on what the director calls a “suppressed historical truth” the brutal massacre of around 500 Oriya Hindu workers at Kesoram Cotton Mills by Muslim League-led mobs.
Love In Vietnam (September 12)
Directed by Rahhat Shah Kazmi, this Indian-Vietnamese musical romantic drama is inspired by the Turkish novel Madonna in a Fur Coat by Sabahattin Ali. Starring Shantanu Maheshwari and Avneet Kaur, the film brings a fresh cross-cultural love story to the big screen.
Ek Chatur Naar (September 12)
Directed by Umesh Shukla, this Hindi dark comedy-thriller stars Divya Khosla Kumar and Neil Nitin Mukesh. The teaser hints at a tale that begins with light-hearted flirtation but quickly descends into twisted mind games filled with dark humour, suspense, and unexpected turns.
Heer Express (September 12)
This film tells the inspiring journey of Heer, who struggles to build her own identity while being burdened by a family legacy she never wanted. It features Divita Juneja, Prit Kamani, and others in key roles.
Jolly LLB 3 (September 19)
One of the most awaited sequels of the year, Jolly LLB 3 is directed by Subhash Kapoor. This black comedy legal drama will see Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi coming together, promising courtroom humour, satire, and powerful performances. The cast also features Huma Qureshi and Amrita Rao. Promising nostalgia, sharp humour, and powerful performances, Jolly LLB 3 is all set to be one of the biggest release of the year. The film will hit cinemas on 19th September.
Nishaanchi (September 19)
Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Nishaanchi is an emotional drama about identical twin brothers who walk very different paths in life. The story explores how choices shape destinies, making it a thought-provoking watch. Produced by Ajay Rai and Ranjan Singh under the Jar Pictures banner, in association with Flip Films, the movie is set to release in cinemas across India on 19th September. The movie also stars Vedika Pinto, Monika Panwar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Kumud Mishra, who all play key roles in the story.
Haunted 3D – Ghosts of The Past (September 26)
Directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Mahesh Bhatt, Anand Pandit, Rakesh Juneja, and Shwetambari Bhatt, this horror film stars Mahaakshay (Mimoh) Chakraborty in the lead. Known for his flair for the horror genre, Vikram Bhatt promises a chilling cinematic experience.
