Varanasi Official Synopsis: Varanasi, starring Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, is scheduled for theaters in the summer of 2027. The teaser for Varanasi, billed as his most ambitious project to date, was shown at a lavish event in Hyderabad. In addition to revealing the actual title of the movie, the short tempted audiences with action, adventure, story mixing, and myhology through breathtaking visuals. The movie's synopsis seems to have been made public via Letterboxd's official account.

Varanasi takes place at a period when an asteroid is threatening to strike Earth, according to the movie's page on the movie rating website Letterboxd. A hero must journey through time and space since the planet is on the verge of collapse.

Varanasi official synopsis read - "When an asteroid hits the city of Varanasi in India, what are the events that it leads to? Is the world about to be doomed? Does it need a savior who has to traverse across the continents and timelines to influence the most crucial moment in the history of Earth?"

All About Varanasi

Mahesh Babu will play the lead in the forthcoming epic adventure movie Varanasi. The movie, which was directed by SS Rajamouli, stars the celebrity as Rudhra, a time-traveling and world-traveling adventurer who was first shown in a concept video with a lot of computer-generated imagery.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran's first-look posters were also revealed by the creators prior to the debut of the concept video. Priyanka's ad shows her in a full-fledged action avatar, and she is slated to play Mandakini.

It's interesting to note that Priyanka Chopra, who last starred with Farhan Akhtar in The Sky Is Pink, is making a comeback to Indian cinema with the next adventure film. In contrast, Prithviraj plays the supervillain Kumbha, who has a sinister vision that puts everything and everyone in his path in danger. His character's theme song was first unveiled at the Globetrotter Event, however it was recently made available on streaming services.
