Veteran actor Prem Chopra has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. The actor, known for his iconic villainous roles in Hindi cinema, has been hospitalised due to age-related issues. His son-in-law, actor Vikas Bhalla, confirmed the news and shared an update on the veteran actor's health. He assured that the admission is a regular precautionary measure, and Prem Chopra is doing fine.
Prem Chopra Health Update
Prem Chopra's son-in-law, Vikas Bhalla, shared details about the actor's health. He told India Today that he was hospitalised as a precautionary measure due to his age-related issues and also stated that he is undergoing a routine check-up. Vikas shared, "It’s all age-related, and a regular procedure. There is nothing to worry about."
According to doctors, Prem Chopra has been admitted due to a heart condition and a viral infection. As per an IANS report, quoting doctor Jalil Parker's statement, “Prem Chopra ji was admitted to Lilavati Hospital two days ago under his family cardiologist, Dr Nitin Gokhale. He has a heart issue also, and he also developed a viral infection, lung infection, for which I am also the treating physician in the same team."

Doctor further clarified that, "He is not in the ICU, he is in the rooms, in the wards, and he is not critical. He has age-related issues, and that is why it takes time for an elderly gentleman to recover… He should be discharged in another 2-3 days. He is stable."
