Vicky Kaushal and Katrina welcomed their first child together in November after being married for four years. The couple kept the pregnancy hidden for a long time, as both of them are very private when it comes to their personal lives. Vicky and Katrina confirmed their pregnancy in September with an adorable polaroid photo. After almost a month of their baby’s birth, Vicky finally spoke about his son and called fatherhood a ‘magical’ feeling.
In an interview with GQ, Vicky Kaushal reflected on the most special moment of this year and said, "Becoming a father this year is my biggest moment of 2025. It is a magical feeling. I always felt that when the time comes, I will be all very emotional and ecstatic, but it has actually been the most grounding moment that I have ever experienced in my life."

On November 7, 2025, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif welcomed their baby boy. The couple announced the news on social media with an adorable creative that read, "Our bundle of joy has arrived. With immense love and gratitude, we welcome our baby boy. 7th November, 2025. Katrina & Vicky." The entire film industry, along with their friends and family, showered the couple with love and blessings. The duo has not disclosed the name and other details of the baby yet and is savouring every little moment with the newborn.

Vicky Kaushal’s father, veteran action director Sham Kaushal also expressed his happiness and heartfelt gratitude in an Instagram post after the birth of his grandson.
