Kingdom Movie Details

The Telugu movie stars Bhagyashri Borse and Satyadev alongside Vijay and is being produced by S. Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Touted as a high-octane commercial entertainer, the movie blends espionage, action, and drama. Originally scheduled to hit theatres on 30th March 2025, the release was delayed due to production-related issues.

Interestingly, there is some uncertainty around the film’s release in Hindi. According to a report in 123 Telugu, the makers are yet to announce the release date for the Hindi version of Kingdom. This has led to speculation that the team might be skipping a theatrical release for Hindi-speaking audiences altogether.

The report also mentioned that Netflix had initially signed a deal with the makers, but following delays, the platform allegedly requested a faster theatrical release. “Netflix had originally signed a different deal with the makers. However, due to multiple delays, the streaming platform reportedly urged the team to release the film in theatres as soon as possible. Releasing the Hindi version without backing from major multiplex chains wouldn’t be profitable, and the rule that requires at least eight weeks between a theatrical release and its OTT debut would further complicate things. To avoid these challenges, the team is said to have decided to skip a theatrical release for the Hindi version and opt for a direct OTT release instead,” the report stated. However, an official statement on this matter is still awaited.

A paparazzo named Sneh Kumar Zala recently stated that the Liger actor will be facing off against Ranveer Singh in the upcoming action thriller.
