Vijay’s Final Film Jana Nayagan Leaks Online: The South Indian film industry is voicing loud following the online leak of Jana Nayagan. The highly anticipated movie starring Thalapathy Vijay marks his final film before his transition into full-time politics. The breach has triggered a massive wave of condemnation from the biggest names in cinema, including legends Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan.

What Is Vijay's Final Film Jana Nayagan Delayed?

Jana Nayagan, produced by KVN Productions, was originally set for a worldwide release on January 9, 2026. However, it has faced significant hurdles, remaining stuck in a certification battle with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Reports suggest the delays may be linked to Vijay’s political role as the chief of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections.

Rajinikanth And Kamal Haasan Slam Jana Nayagan's Leak

Superstar Rajinikanth was among the first to express his dismay, He stated, "The release of the Jananayakan film on the internet by someone has caused shock and pain. Film associations must raise their voice against this, and the government must identify those responsible and impose severe punishment. Such crimes must not be allowed to continue in the future."

Additionally, Kamal Haasan argued that the leak was an avoidable tragedy, stating, "The leak of #Jananayagan is not an accident – it is the result of systemic failure. Had due process been timely, we would not be here. Inordinate delays in certification created fertile ground for piracy. When legal access is stalled, illegitimate channels take over. Piracy is beyond politics; it is an attack on the art and artist itself." Haasan further emphasised that such leaks endanger the livelihoods of hundreds of technicians and honest investors, urging fans to give a befitting response by watching the film legally in theatres.

Please let’s not turn their hard work into a forwarded clip Let’ the film breathe on screen and not die on your phone."

Producer Suresh Kamatchi, who recently faced his own challenges with the film Salliyargal, called the leak a criminal act and expressed deep sympathy for the financial burden placed on the producers. Meanwhile, actor-composer Vijay Antony and star Sivakarthikeyan have both urged the public to support the film through legal platforms and called for strict action against those responsible for the digital theft.
