Actor Vikrant Massey seems to be on a roll as he is making headlines for several reasons. The Bollywood actor’s much-talked-about movie Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan released today in theatres. It stars Vikrant Massey opposite debutant Shanaya Kapoor. Meanwhile, the actor has also grabbed some attention as he is gearing up to play the role of the spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Reportedly, Vikrant will start shooting for the movie, which is tentatively titled White, in August.
Vikrant Massey opened up and told PTI, “To play Gurudev, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, is a daunting task. I'm very nervous, and that chapter in his life is so phenomenal, but it's also a tragedy that a lot of people don't know about his contributions, not just to the art of living but through philanthropy.”

Showcasing his optimism, he said, "His peace methods, how he's impacted the world on a larger scale, to tell that chapter of his life is daunting, to play him, he's a living legend. I'm very nervous, but I'll give it a try. I hope I'm able to pull it off.” As per a report in India Today, Vikrant expressed spending time with the spiritual leader as memorable and said, "Every moment spent with him is going to be etched for the rest of my life. I am so glad I have that access, and I can be with him, around him.”

Haseen Dilruba actor also spoke about the people who still bring up the topic of his ‘break’ and ‘retirement’ from the industry, and questions his stance. He said, "Yeah, I keep reading that on every post, actually. But I have nothing to tell them. I had come out the very next day to clear it out. I mean, some of them are bullies and some of them really want to evoke a response, and I don't care two hoots about that. I mean, people who care definitely knew what I meant and why I did what I did, and that's about it."
