Waiting Hai Trailer
Sugam is a new railway cop struggling with a hard boss and stress at home. At the same time, a tech guy named Afroz finds a way to hack the ticket system.
Train tickets start disappearing in seconds. Sugam notices something is wrong and realises someone is scamming the system. His wife encourages him to look closer, so he starts following the clues. But Afroz is smart and stays one step ahead.
When tickets keep instantly selling out, Sugam dives deeper into the case to figure out who is really running the scam.
It will stream for free on Prime Video from September 16, 2026.
Waiting Hai Cast Details
Apart from Divyenndu and Bhuvan Arora, Waiting Hai also features Harshita Gaur, Kumud Mishra, Vijay Maurya, Srushti Tare and Sunita Rajwar in pivotal roles.
A Jio Studios presentation and Jar Pictures Production, the series is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker and Series Director Sameer Vidwans. Waiting Hai is produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Ajay Rai.
Speaking about playing Sugam Mishra, Divyenndu shared, "What drew me to Sugam was that he is not your typical cop who has everything figured out. He is trying to find his feet professionally while also dealing with the realities of his personal and newly married life. That balance makes him very relatable, and I enjoyed exploring that side of him. Waiting Hai has this very rooted, desi humour to it, but there is also a cat-and-mouse chase at its core."
Sharing his experience of playing Afroz Hamsa, Bhuvan Arora added, "The script itself immediately appealed to me because it’s such a fun cat-and-mouse chase. Knowing that the story is also loosely based on real-life events made it even more intriguing for me. And then, of course, getting to work with such talented and veteran actors was an added bonus."
