War 2 Ending Explained: Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani and Jr NTR starrer spy thriller movie has finally hit the screens on August 14. As there is two of the most biggest stars in the Indian film industry have sharing the same screen that too in a spy thriller movie, then a question definitely arises, who is the real hero. Since the trailer release, there was a buzz that Jr NTR might the main antagonist in the film. Well! The answer might shock you, as the film takes an interesting twist.

What Is Kabir’s Real Agenda?
Kabir (Hrithik Roshan) is a former RAW agent, who has been considered as national threat. He had earned the reputation of ‘the man who doesn’t miss’ with 20 kills in just 15 months. He shows that he is a freelancer but he is actually been hired by a global terror organisation called Kali. But Kabir has a secret agenda to destroy Kali.
How Vikram Entered In Kabir’s Life?
Wing Commander Kavya Luthra (Kiara Advani) has been felicitated for successfully leading an evacuation mission. During the ceremony, his father Colonel Karan Luthra (Ashutosh Rana) gets a call, which is a trap set by Kali. They order Kabir to Kill Karan Luthra and he follows the same. There is when RAW Chief Vikrant Kaul (Anil Kapoor) steps in and order Major Vikram Chelapathi to destroy Kali. While the investigation begins, they also tries to secure Kabir’s daughter Ruhi. For his daughter’s safetly, Kabir hides Ruhi with Khalid's mother Nafisa Rahmani (Soni Razdan) in Manali. Then Kabir meets Vikram and tells the truth about his mission. They decide to work together and become partners. They plans to destroy Kali.
Is Jr NTR Aka Vikram The Villain Or The Hero In War 2?
In a shocking twist, Vikram killed Minister Sarang’s (Varun Badola) family. Kabir was shocked to know that Vikram has been passing RAW’s information to Kali along with the secret of their working together. Amid this, in an operation, Vikram pushes Kabir from a plane and gives a cryptic sign. After which, Kabir realises that Vikram is his childhood best friend Raghu, the boy who taught him everything and stood by him until one life-changing moment.
It shows a flashback, when Kabir and Raghu were caught in a theft case, which led to the former’s imprisonment and the latter also accompanied him. Then they met Kabir Luthra, who picked a few children to train them as a soldier. At that time, only Kabir was selected and he was given given time of six months to change his mentality from ‘Raghu first’ to ‘India first’. Later, Kabit offered to help Raghu but he declined. This led to a broken friendship. After several years had passed by, Kabir joined RAW under Karan Luthra’s guidance. At that time, Kavya fell in love with him and proposed marriage. But Karan then refused to be in a relationship and wanted to focus on his career.
What Happens In The End Of War 2
Kabir continues to keep his mission to destroy Kali. After knowing that Vikram is Raghu, Kabir tells everything to Kavya. Together, they go on a mission to expose Kali. They found out that Minister Sarang is involved and aims to become the Prime Minister.
It shows a tense sequence, Kabir and Raghu have a massive face-off in a brutal combat. On the other hand, Kavya, along with her team, tries to save the Prime Minister from the assassination and succeeds in doing that. Kabir gave a blow to Raghu and the two had an emotional exchange and a heated argument as well.
The War Chief declares Vikram has been declared a Martyr. People believe that Vikram is dead but he is alive. Kabir and Raghu destroy the key operatives of Kali. Kabir chose not to say Vikram/ Raghu’s survival to RAW. He thinks of correcting his past mistake of rejecting Kavya and starting a new life with her.
War 2 ends with several questions, whether Kabir and Kavya will be together. Raghu will remain hidden forever or he will go on the wrong path once again?
