Adivi Sesh’s upcoming action romantic thriller, Dacoit, will be competing with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 and Yash’s Toxic. Adivi Sesh Reacts To Dacoit Vs Dhurandhar 2 And Toxic Clash

Adivi Sesh attended the teaser launch of his film in Hyderabad along with other cast and crew members. During the event, he said, “I gave this statement in 2022 also. Back then, Major came alongside Kamal Haasan sir’s Vikram and Yash Raj Films’ Samrat Prithviraj. I faced the same question during that time, and my answer remains the same. There might be many big fish in the sea, but we are the gold fish."

Dacoit Teaser

The teaser hints at a broken love story involving two robbers. It opens with the introduction of Sesh and Mrunal’s characters, with Sesh seen discussing with a friend how Mrunal has agreed to go along with his plan. The narrative soon shifts into action mode, with Mrunal taking control of the wheel, followed by gunfire and chase sequences. The teaser also features Anurag Kashyap, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zayn Marie Khan and Kamakshi Bhaskarla, adding depth to the story. The film also marks Kashyap’s Telugu debut as an actor.

Dacoit Release Date

Originally slated for a Christmas 2025 release, Dacoit was postponed after Adivi Sesh sustained an injury during filming. The film is now scheduled to release worldwide on March 19, 2026.

Dhurandhar 2 And Toxic March 2026

During Dhurandhar’s theatrical debut, the makers confirmed that the sequel, Dhurandhar 2 Revenge, is slated for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026. The first part has been smashing box office records since its release on December 5. Many movies have shifted their release dates to avoid a direct clash with Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar Part 2. However, the makers of Yash’s Toxic appear to be sticking to the originally announced release date.
