Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has reportedly received another serious threat months after a firing incident outside his Juhu residence. According to reports, an audio clip demanding Rs 20 crore was sent to his staff, warning of deadly consequences if the money was not paid. Mumbai Police have launched an investigation and sent the recording for forensic examination to verify the identity of the person behind the alleged threat.

Rohit Shetty Receives Fresh Threat From Bishnoi Gang Through Audio Clip

Khatron Ke Khiladi host and director, Rohit Shetty has reportedly received a fresh threat allegedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. As per IANS report, his staff received a 90-second audio message on Saturday morning demanding Rs 20 crore as extortion money.

The caller allegedly warned that if the demand was not fulfilled, Shetty would be shot directly. The message also claimed that the earlier firing outside his Juhu home was only a warning and that any future attack would target him instead of his property.

Police Begin Investigation, Voice Suspected Of Bishnoi's Close Alliance Shubham Lonkar

After receiving the audio clip, Rohit Shetty's staff immediately handed it over to the Mumbai Police. Officials have launched an investigation and sent the recording to a forensic laboratory for voice analysis.

According to investigators, the voice in the clip is suspected to be that of Shubham Lonkar, a wanted criminal believed to be a close associate of Lawrence Bishnoi. Police are waiting for forensic confirmation before making any official conclusion.

Shubham Lonkar Link To Baba Siddique Murder Case 

Authorities are already searching for Shubham Lonkar in connection with the 2024 murder of politician Baba Siddique and the firing outside Rohit Shetty's Juhu residence in February 2026. Investigators are examining whether the latest threat is connected to those ongoing cases.

Rohit Shetty’s February Firing Case

Earlier this year, shots were fired outside Rohit Shetty's house in Juhu. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang had allegedly claimed responsibility for the attack.

Police said the firing was carried out by Deepak Sharma, who allegedly arrived on a motorcycle before escaping. He was later traced to Agra and arrested.

In April, the Mumbai Crime Branch filed a 1,624-page chargesheet in the case, naming 15 accused. Among them, Praveen Lonkar and Arju Bishnoi were declared absconding. The latest audio threat has now become part of the ongoing investigation.
