Welcome To The Jungle: The Akshay Kumar-led upcoming chapter from the Welcome franchise has created waves for several reasons, one of them being that the film was halted due to financial troubles. Reports suggest the reason behind delays is the Pahalgam terror attack. Now confirming the same, director Ahmed Khan has broken his silence on delays of Welcome To The Jungle. As the team was supposed to shoot an extensive schedule in Kashmir in June, they are now scouting for a new location following the incident.

Reacting to the delay of the Welcome To The Jungle shoot, Ahmed Khan revealed how the cast was supposed to shoot the main portion in Kashmir but plans changed following Pahalgam terror attack.
The choreographer-turned-filmmaker told Bollywood Hungama, "We’ve already completed two major shooting schedules. Our third and most extensive schedule was supposed to take place in Kashmir in June, and that would have brought us closer to wrapping up the film. But after the tragedy in Pahalgam, it was no longer viable. We had to scrap the plan altogether."

Ahmed also shared that how they are starting from scratch by looking for alternative locations like Kullu or other parts of Himachal Pradesh. He stated, “Returning to Kashmir doesn’t seem feasible at this point. So we’re starting from scratch, planning the entire schedule again. Coordinating the dates of 36 actors is an enormous task and we’re working hard to make it happen."

He also addressed the most talked about reason for the film's production delay, financial constraints.
