Salman Khan is one of the biggest superstars who has worked in numerous films and built a legacy of his own. Known for his humble, kind, and helpful nature, he has always shown the utmost respect toward his co-stars, especially female colleagues. A perfect example of this was revealed by his Maine Pyaar Kiya co-star Bhagyashree, who shared that Salman Khan had refused to kiss her without her consent and even asked the photographer whether he had sought her permission for the same.
In a 2015 interview, Bhagyashree revealed that the concept of consent wasn’t given much importance back in the day. She recalled an incident where a renowned photographer had asked Salman Khan, to kiss her during a photoshoot. She said, "There was a prominent photographer at that time — I don't want to name him. He had come to do a publicity shoot and wanted some of those hot, sizzling pictures. We were shooting in a hotel, I think it was Holiday Inn or Sun N Sand (both in Juhu, Mumbai)", adding, "That photographer was telling Salman to kiss me without my knowledge and how to hold me during the shoot and stuff. Both of them couldn’t see me and didn't know I was listening."
However, Salman was not agreeing with the suggestion, and his first question was if Bhagyashree had given permission, followed by a recant of the idea as he refused to violate her space like that. She said, “Salman asked the photographer, 'Have you asked her?' He replied, 'No. What is the need of asking her? You do it; after all, it is just one shot.' Salman said, "I am not going to do anything like that. You take her permission; if she says it is okay, only then will I do it."
This speaks a lot about the respect Salman Khan gives to his co-stars. In fact, Salman Khan and Bhagyashree shared a great friendship even after the film released. Salman was even among the few names from the industry who attended her wedding. She shared, "At our wedding, only Salman Khan and Sooraj ji's family attended from my side. My parents were not talking to me and did not attend. They felt I was too young (to get married) and I don’t blame them."

A reunion with Kabir Khan, especially one involving Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2, could mark a shift towards the emotionally resonant storytelling that defined their earlier work together.
