Trisha Krishnan is a well known face in the Tamil and Telugu film industries, who has made a name for herself over the years. The actress, who kept her personal life away from the public eye, is reportedly set to get married soon. Apart from her movies, fans are eager to see her as a bride. However, the 42-year-old has never really spoken about her life despite affair rumours with Thalapathy Vijay and Varun Manian. Now, it seems the actress is set to next step in her life.

As per a report by The Siasat Daily, Trisha Krishnan’s family approved a new match for her. The groom is reportedly a businessman based in Chandigarh, who expanded his venture from Australia to India. The report further suggested that both families have known each other for years. However, Trisha or her family has yet to make any comment on these reports.

Earlier, the actress addressed the wedding buzz that she is open to marriage and will get married when she finds the right man. The actress then said, “the right time hasn’t come yet.”

Trisha Krishnan was earlier engaged to entrepreneur Varun Manian. They exchanged rings in 2015 but called off the relationship later. At that time, there were reports which claimed that the decision between Trisha and Varun was made because she chose to continue her acting career after marriage. There were also alleged reports of Vijay and Trisha’s affair, which fueled more as fans loved their onscreen pair. The duo had worked in several movies such as Ghilli (2004), Thirupaachi (2005), Aathi (2006), and Kuruvi (2008). After the 2008 film, the duo stopped working; there were reports then that the fueling gossip turned into something more. Not only that, reports also claimed that Vijay’s family even asked him to keep a distance from Trisha after Kuruvi. Both stars always vouched for their friendship and denied the speculations of a relationship.

In 2023, Trisha Krishnan and Thalapathy Vijay reunited for the 2023 movie, Leo. The film was a blockbuster. Not only that, Trisha also performed a dance number in Vijay’s 2024 movie The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT). 

On the other hand, Thalapathy Vijay has been married to Sangeetha Sornalingam since 1999. They are parents of two children-Jason Sanjay and Divya Saasha.
