Tribanadhari Barbarik OTT Release: Sathyaraj and Satyam Rajesh starrer Telugu suspense thriller movie, which released in theatres on August 29, received mixed responses from the critics. The film failed at the box office due to a lack of promotion. Now, more than a month of its release, the Telugu made its digital debut on two popular OTT platforms to reach a wider range of audience. Tribanadhari Barbarik started streaming on the South OTT platform Sun NXT on October 10. The streaming giant shared the news on its social media handles, “Every clue counts. Every second matters. What Is Tribanadhari Barbarik All About?
The film focuses on Dr Shyam Kathu (Sathyaraj), who is an elderly psychiatrist lives with his granddaughter Nidhi after parents’ death. He presents himself as Barbarik, the legendary warrior from the Mahabharata, who is capable of single-handedly winning wars. When Nidhi vanishes, he turn himself into hunter uniting with a constable (Satyam Rajesh) to unravel the mystery. As they investigate the matter, it leads them to darker paths. Tribanadhari Barbarik stars Sathyaraj, Sanchi Rai, Udaya Bhanu, VTV Ganesh, Satyam Rajesh, Vasishta N. Simha and Kranthi Kiran in key roles. It has been directed by Mohan Srivatsa and produced by Vijaypal Reddy Adidhala.

While speaking to the press about Tribanadhari Barbarik earlier in August, Sathyaraj said, “Even at 70, my passion for exploring fresh and unique roles remains strong. I’d rather take on characters like Barbarik than settle for the usual, conventional ones. I'm thrilled to have been a part of Tribanadhari Barbarik. While each of us may have played key roles, it's the story itself that truly stands out as the real hero. The moment I heard about my character with grey shades, I agreed to do it right away.”
