Actress Trisha Krishnan faced a tense moment on Friday when a bomb threat was made to her Chennai residence in Teynampet. The alert prompted immediate action from the Tamil Nadu police, who rushed to the spot with a team of officers and sniffer dogs. After conducting a thorough search of the property, officials confirmed that the call was a hoax, bringing relief to the actress and her family. This incident comes just days after a similar hoax targeted actor Vijay’s Neelankarai home.
Meanwhile, in recent weeks, Tamil Nadu has witnessed a spate of such bomb threats, many of them directed at high-profile personalities. Reports indicate that even Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and former Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami have received similar threats, causing concern across the state. Though these threats have turned out to be false alarms, police officials are not treating them lightly. Authorities have tightened security and are actively investigating to trace the origin of the calls. “Even if they are hoaxes, they disturb public peace and create panic. We are determined to identify those behind these mischiefs,” a senior officer was quoted as saying. Despite the unsettling episode, Trisha remains focused on her flourishing film career.

Trisha Krishnan’s Work Front
Trisha Krishnan has several exciting projects lined up for release. She will next be seen opposite Megastar Chiranjeevi in Vishwambhara, a socio-fantasy entertainer directed by Vassishta. Scheduled for a summer 2026 release, the film is expected to be a grand spectacle. Chiranjeevi has described it as a story filled with mythological elements and heartwarming emotions, comparing it to classic “Chandamama” tales that delight both children and adults.
Meanwhile, Trisha is also starring in Karuppu, directed by RJ Balaji and produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. In this action drama, Suriya plays Saravanan, a lawyer, while the supporting cast includes Malayalam actors Indrans, Sshivada, and Swasika, along with Tamil stars Yogi Babu and Natty. With music by Sai Abhyankkar and cinematography by GK Vishnu, the film is expected to be a blend of powerful performances and high-octane drama. Her most recent release was Thug Life, where she shared the screen with Kamal Haasan, further cementing her reputation as one of South Indian cinema’s most versatile actresses.
