Abhinav Kashyap has been making big headlines with his bold claims these days. The director, who made Dabangg starring Salman Khan, is currently in the spotlight for raising questions about Salman’s work ethic and his allegations against the actor for ruining his career. Recently, Abhinav Kashyap slammed Salman Khan for sabotaging his career and called him a ‘gunda.’ He claimed, during one of his interviews, that the actor behaved as if he did a favour turning up on the set, despite being uninterested in acting for the last 25 years.
Abhinav Kashyap’s controversial statements like “badtameez hai, ganda insaan hai,” about Salman Khan have made him the talk of the town, as everybody wondered about his background. Abhinav Kashyap further asserted that the Khan family as a whole is vengeful and focused on industry dominance. He called Salman Khan 'the father of the star system' in Bollywood, coming from a family that has been in movies for more than 50 years.

Who Is Abhinav Kashyap?
The Dabangg director, before working with Salman Khan, was already a part of the film industry. He was a writer for Jung and Yuva, before he wrote dialogues for Manorama Six Feet Under and 13B. These projects made him ready to enter the direction field. In 2010, Abhinav made his debut movie as a director and worked with Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in Dabangg, which also featured Sonu Sood. He is also the director of Ranbir Kapoor starrer movie Besharam.
Apart from this, Abhinav also has another connection to the Bollywood industry. He is the younger brother of director Anurag Kashyap, who is known for movies like Dev D, Gangs Of Wasseypur, Bombay Velvet and others. Though being brothers, the duo doesn’t share a close relationship. Abhinav has been vocal about his bond with Anurag Kashyap in the past and shared that they don’t get involved in each other’s life.
Dabangg’s 15 Years Of Existence:
Abhinav Kashyap’s Dabangg will complete 15 years of its existence on September 10 this year. The movie, which rocked at the box office, starred Salman Khan as Chulbul Pandey, Sonakshi Sinha as his wife Rajjo, and Sonu Sood as Chhedi Singh, the villain. Dabangg started the cop universe in the film industry and presented a different side of Salman Khan as an actor.
