Yash’s Toxic Unveils First Look Of Tara Sutaria: The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have unveiled a striking new character poster featuring Tara Sutaria as Rebecca, adding another powerful female presence to the film’s growing universe. The pan-India project stars KGF fame Yash in the lead and is directed by Geetu Mohandas. With every new reveal, the film continues to build anticipation ahead of its theatrical release. The first-look poster of Tara Sutaria comes after the previously released character introductions of Kiara Advani as Nadia, Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth, and Nayanthara as Ganga. Each poster has highlighted a different shade of strength and vulnerability, and Tara’s reveal further raises the stakes.
In the newly released poster, Tara Sutaria appears in a dark, intense, and glamorous avatar. She is seen holding a gun, instantly signalling that her character, Rebecca, carries both authority and danger. Dressed in an off-shoulder metallic outfit with gloves and a retro hairstyle, Tara’s look blends elegance with raw power. The sepia-toned visual, along with dust, smoke and light filtering through the background, adds to the film’s “dark fairytale” aesthetic. This marks Tara Sutaria’s first action-heavy role, breaking away from her usual polished and romantic on-screen image. The poster hints at a character who is fearless on the surface but layered with emotional depth beneath. Director Geetu Mohandas On Working With Tara Sutaria
Director Geetu Mohandas spoke in detail about her experience working with Tara Sutaria and shared an emotional insight into their creative bond. She said, "I’ve always felt an instinctive love to protect Tara. Perhaps because she is a guarded soul, or perhaps it’s the armour she’s comfortable with. And perhaps it doesn’t need to be defined. I realised early on that the best way to reach her was not by pushing, not by demanding more, but by allowing her the space to simply be. That choice shaped our equation, which turned out calm, deeply professional, and perfectly aligned." She further added, "When she finally stepped into her performance, what emerged was nothing short of breathtaking… She surprised me completely, and in the most beautiful way."

Toxic is written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and is being shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. The film is produced by Venkat K Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. With its strong ensemble cast, stylised visuals and layered storytelling, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is shaping up to be one of the most awaited releases of 2026. The film is scheduled to hit cinemas on March 19, 2026, clashing with Dhurandhar 2 at the box office.
