Sussanne Khan's mother Zarine Khan passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 81, due to age-related ailments. Zarine's last rites were performed at Juhu crematorium. Several Bollywood celebrities came to pay their last respects to her. Sussanne Khan's ex-husband and actor, Hrithik Roshan, was also seen arriving at Zarine Khan's funeral. Other notable celebrities included Bobby Deol, Rakulpreet Kaur, Jaya Bachchan, Aly Goni, Jasmine Bhasin, among others.
Bobby Deol was papped outside Sanjay Khan’s Mumbai residence. He was seen emotional after paying his last respects to Zarine Khan. The video of the same is now doing rounds on social media.
Jaya Bachchan, accompanied by her daughter Shweta Bachchan, was seen arriving in a face mask.
In a video shared by a paparazzo, Jackie Shroff, dressed in an all-white kurta-pyjama and cap, was seen calmly urging the media to “behave.” Standing composed amid the crowd, he gestured to photographers, reminding them to act respectfully during the sensitive moment.
Beyond being a devoted wife and mother, Zarine Khan was a multifaceted personality—an accomplished model, actor and one of India’s first interior designers. After appearing in films like Tere Ghar Ke Samne (1963) with Dev Anand, she turned to design and philanthropy, leaving a lasting mark with her elegant creations and timeless influence on Bollywood’s design landscape.
