Newtopia on OTT: BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is set to make her much-anticipated Kdrama comeback alongside Park Jung Min in Newtopia, a thrilling zombie apocalypse series. Adapted from the web novel Influenza by Han Sang Woon, the show is directed by Yoon Sung Hyun and co-written by Ji Ho Jin and Han Jin Won. With its unique blend of action, romance and fantasy, Newtopia is already generating excitement among fans worldwide.

For Kdrama lovers in India, Newtopia will be available on Amazon Prime Video, making it accessible to international audiences. The series is set to premiere on February 7, 2025, with the first two episodes dropping on the same day. Following this, new episodes will be released every Friday until the season finale on March 21, 2025. In South Korea, the drama will be broadcast on COUPANG TV and the episodes will be released at 8 PM KST (4:30 PM IST). The first two episodes of Newtopia arrive on February 7, 2025, on Amazon Prime Video in India. Newtopia will have a total of eight episodes. 

Newtopia follows the journey of Jaeyoon, a soldier, and his longtime girlfriend, Youngjoo. After parting ways, the two find themselves in the middle of a zombie outbreak that turns their world upside down. As Seoul falls into chaos, they are trapped in a high-rise building, forced to fight for survival. Amidst the relentless attacks of the undead, their love is rekindled, proving that even in the face of an apocalypse, destiny has its way.

Jaeyoon, once timid and unsure, transforms into a strong leader, while Youngjoo discovers newfound resilience. Their journey is not just about survival—it's about finding each other against all odds.

Park Jung Min takes on the role of Jaeyoon, the soldier battling both zombies and his inner fears. Known for his roles in Hellbound, The Light Shop, and Sh**ting Stars, he brings depth to the character.

Jisoo plays Youngjoo, a young woman navigating adulthood when disaster strikes. This marks her return to acting after Snowdrop, and she is also set to star in Boyfriend on Demand and Omniscient Reader: The Prophet.

The ensemble cast includes Kim Joon Han, Im Sung Jae, Kim Chan Hyung, Lee Hak Joo, Kwon Seung Woo, Kim Sang Heun, Tang Jun Sang and more.
