Nitanshi Goel has gained widespread recognition since her debut in the industry with Laapataa Ladies. After representing the movie at the 97th Academy Awards and winning the Best Actress award for her role at IIFA 2025, she is now set to light up the global stage of the Cannes Film Festival with her presence. The 17-year-old is excited for her debut at the world’s most glamorous festival.
Nitanshi Goel will walk the red carpet for the global beauty brand L'Oréal Paris, the official beauty partner of Cannes for 28 years.
Nitanshi, who is on cloud nine to be the youngest actor to attended the 78th Cannes Film Festival, shared her excitement in a statement, “I came into this industry with aspirations of making things happen for me. From the incredible journey of ‘Laapataa Ladies’ to now standing on the global stage at Cannes, I am getting closer to realising them. I am that girl who is representing every Indian girl out there who dreams big and is ready to go and achieve them, come what may."

Calling it an honour, she added, “Being able to represent those girls at a global stage is a moment of sheer happiness. By me being on the carpet, I wish to empower each female out there who is taking charge of their life, dreams, and career. It’s an absolute honour."

Anupam Kher's upcoming directorial, Tanvi: The Great, will have its international premiere at the Marché du Film (Cannes Film Market).
About Laapataa Ladies: The 2023 Hindi comedy drama movie is directed by Kiran Rao and backed by Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions. In the movie, Nitanshi starred as Phool alongside Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Ravi Kishan, Chhaya Kadam, and others. The Laapataa Ladies is set in a rural area and follows the journey of two brides who accidentally swap places on a train. After that, their lives become full of chaos and drama, with the theme of discovery in this journey.
