Nithya Menen recently stopped hugging Pisaasu director Mysskin at the trailer launch event of her upcoming Tamil movie Kadhalikka Neramillai. During the event in Chennai, the actress was seen asking the filmmaker not to hug her. Mysskin then ended up kissing her hand instead. A video of their interaction went viral on social media. In the clip, Nithya can be heard saying playfully, “Don’t Squeeze me, I am fully dressed up. So, don’t do all that.” She was also seen playfully kissing the cheeks of the filmmaker.

Coming back to Kadhalikka Neramillai, the story revolves around a man, who falls for his boss’ daughter. To gain the approval of their marriage, he convinces his friend to act as his father, which leads to a hilarious series of misunderstandings. The movie stars Jayam Ravi, Yogi Babu, Nithya Menen, Vinay Rai, TJ Bhanu, Lal, Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, John Kokken, Vinodhini Vaidynathan and Singh Rohaan in key roles. It has been directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi and produced by Red Giant Movies. The film is set to be released in theatres on January 14, 2025. While sharing the trailer of the movie, “Finally. Nithya Menen is known for her work in movies like Thiruchitrambalam, O Kadhal Kanmani, Mersal, Ishq, Idly Kadai, Ustad Hotel, Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde and Janatha Garage to name a few. The actress gained humongous popularity pan India with the Bollywood movie Mission Mangal. The film, released in 2019, stars Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharman Joshi, Dattanna, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Vikram Gokhale, Sanjay Kapoor and Dalip Tahil in significant roles. The film is currently streaming on Disney + Hotstar. She was also seen in the popular Hindi web series Breathe: Into the Shadows alongside Abhishek Bachchan. The show is also streaming on Prime Video.
