ADOR has addressed allegations made by NJZ (formerly known as NewJeans) that the label is trying to prevent their entertainment activities. The agency, a subsidiary of HYBE, released a statement clarifying its stance on the issue and the legal steps it has taken against the group.

On March 6, NJZ claimed that ADOR was actively working to block their ongoing and upcoming entertainment activities through legal means. This accusation came amidst an ongoing legal dispute between the group and the agency regarding the termination of their contract. In response, ADOR refuted these claims, asserting that their actions were meant to maintain the contractual status rather than hinder the group's growth.

ADOR explained that their legal actions were aimed at ensuring NJZ did not independently sign advertisement contracts without the agency’s approval. They emphasized that the injunction was meant to preserve the group's contract with the label. However, they claimed that NJZ continued to announce new songs and international performances, which led ADOR to take legal measures to address the situation.

In a statement, the agency said, "While the injunction was to preserve the status of the contract and prevent them from signing advertisement contracts, they continued to release new songs and announce large-scale overseas performances, so we had no choice."

ADOR also stressed that they were not looking to restrict NJZ but rather wanted to work together with them under the existing contract. "This is not to restrict them but to do these activities together with ADOR while keeping the contract," they stated.

According to reports, NJZ believes that ADOR's actions are not just about advertisement deals but are an attempt to halt their entire Kpop career. The dispute is set to be reviewed in court, with the first hearing on the validity of NJZ’s contract scheduled for April 3. Additionally, the review of ADOR’s injunction request against NJZ’s music activities will take place on March 7.

Despite the ongoing legal battle, NJZ has been announced as a headliner for ComplexCon Hong Kong, scheduled for March 21-23. The group is expected to release new music at the event. However, NJZ has alleged that ADOR attempted to interfere with their collaboration with the concert organizers.
