Ranveer Allahbadia has made a shocking revelation that has sent shockwaves across the online community. In a recent statement, Allahbadia claimed that he has been receiving death threats, leaving him feeling scared and vulnerable. He has asserted that he is not intimidated and has no intention of running away or hiding from the situation. Instead, he appears determined to stand his ground and face the challenges head-on.

Ranveer Allahbadia Is 'Not Running Away...'

Ranveer took to his Instagram handle and wrote, "My team and I are cooperating with the police and all other authorities. I will follow due process and be available to all agencies. My remark about parents was insensitive and disrespectful. It is my moral responsibility to do better and I am genuinely sorry. I'm watching death threats pour in from people saying that they want to kill me and hurt my family. People have invaded my mother’s clinic posing as patients. I’m feeling scared and I don’t know what to do. But I’m not running away. I have full faith in the police and the judicial system of India.”

On Saturday, PTI reported that Ranveer Allahbadia has gone untraceable by the Mumbai police, with his phone switched off. This development came after Allahbadia made crass remarks about parents and sex on comedian Samay Raina's now-deleted YouTube show India's Got Latent. The comments sparked widespread outrage, leading to multiple complaints against him.

The Khar police have been trying to contact Allahbadia, but to no avail, as his phone remains unreachable. Meanwhile, Samay Raina's lawyer met with senior police officials, requesting more time for his client to appear before them. The lawyer cited that Raina is currently in the US, and on this request, the police have granted him time until March 10 to record a statement.

The Maharashtra Cyber Department has also summoned at least 50 individuals to record their statements in connection with the case. Amidst the controversy, Uttar Pradesh Minister Asim Arun appealed to comedians to strike a balance between provoking thought and maintaining respect. rephrase in past tense
