Odela 2: Tamannaah Bhatia left us wanting more after entertaining us with a brief role and a stunning dance sequence in Stree 2 and Raid 2. She will now play the protagonist in Odela 2.

Odela 2, a Telugu supernatural thriller, is now one of the most eagerly awaited movies. It is the follow-up to the Odela Railway Station movie, which came out in 2022. Here is all you need to know about the Tamannaah Bhatia starrer before it releases in theaters.

Odela 2 Release Date, Runtime And Budget Details

Odela 2 will be released in theaters on April 17, 2025. The CBFC has given Odela 2 an 'A' rating. However, the creators have set the overall duration of the eerie thriller at two hours and thirty minutes.

Odela 2, starring Tamannaah Bhatia, has a 25 crore budget. The claimed price of 10 crores was obtained for the theatrical rights (both in Telugu and abroad). Their non-theatrical internet, music and satellite rights have also brought in 18 crores, as per the Koimoi report.

Odela 2 Cast And Plot Details

Tamannaah Bhatia will play a brand-new part in the eerie thriller. The name of her character in the movie is Shiva Shakthi.

The Telugu movie also features Hebah Patel, Vasishta N Simha, Murali Sharma, Sharath Lohitashwa, Yuva, Naga Mahesh, Vamsi, Gagan Vihari, Surender Reddy, Srikanth Iyenger, Bhupal and Pooja Reddy. Ashok Teja is the director, and Sampath Nandi is the writer of the Telugu movie Odela 2. D Madhu produces it under the Madhu Creations name in collaboration with Sampath Nandi Teamworks.

Tirupati (played by Vassishta Simha) kidnaps and murders newlywed women in Odela village on the day of their wedding. When his wife, Radha (Hebah Patel), learns about this, she decapitates him. She turns herself in to the police. Tirupati is portrayed in the sequel as turning into a wicked ghost that haunts the villagers even after he passes away. An Aghora-like devotee of Lord Shiva named Shiva Shakthi (Tamannaah) enters Odela village and encounters Tirupati's wicked ghost.

Odela 2 OTT Platform 

One of the biggest OTT behemoths, Amazon Prime Video, has acquired the Odela 2's digital rights for post-theater OTT release. The streaming service paid Rs 18 crore to avail the movie rights in every language.
