At a recent press conference for the upcoming supernatural thriller Odela 2, actress Tamannaah Bhatia was in attendance alongside the film's cast and crew. During the event, she was posed with a question regarding her casting as a sadhvi in the movie, given her established image as a symbol of 'milky beauty'. In response, Tamannaah offered a thoughtful perspective, emphasizing that divinity in a woman can manifest in diverse ways, each of which deserves to be celebrated.

Tamannaah reacted to the question on her casting, stating, “You are saying milky beauty but why you looked at a milky beauty and thought that she can't be a shiva shakti? Your question has the answer in it. He [Ashok Teja] does not look at milky beauty that is to be ashamed of or feel bad about. Glamour in a woman is to be celebrated, and we women must celebrate ourselves. Then we can expect other people to celebrate us. But if we look at ourselves in a certain way then nobody can respect us.”
“Here we have a wonderful gentleman [Ashok Teja] who does not look at women like that. He looks at women like divine. Divine can be glamourous, lethal, powerful. A woman can be many, many things,” she further added, according to Hindustan Times.
The highly anticipated official teaser of Tamannaah Bhatia's upcoming film, Odela 2, was unveiled by the makers in February, sending waves of excitement among fans and cinema enthusiasts alike. As a sequel to the 2022 Telugu movie Odela Railway Station, Odela 2 is expected to be an action-packed and thrilling ride.
To share the teaser with her massive following, Tamannaah took to Instagram and posted the gripping video, accompanied by a captivating caption that hints at the film's central theme. Her post read, "When the devil returns, the divine surges forth to protect its land and its legacy," setting the tone for an epic battle between good and evil.
