'Oh My God 2' features Akshay Kumar, Yami Gautam, and Pankaj Tripathi in lead roles. The film will hit theaters on August 11, whereas the official teaser of the film was recently released by the makers of the film.
However, the Akshay Kumar starrer has now been sent to the Censor Board's revising committee to ensure that the scenes and dialogues in the film are not bound to create any issues. The panel has put the film on hold for now.
The Censor Board panel is being extra cautious and does not want to repeat the backlash that 'Adipurush' faced over the dialogues and has taken certain 'preemptive measures' to avoid such havoc. So far the film has encountered no problems.
The Censor Board will send the film dealing with crucial subjects revolving around god and religion for review and revision, as Prabhas led 'Adipurush' faced immense backlash at the box office over its cringe dialogues and poor VFX quality with false information delivered to the public causing a riot towards the Censor Board authorities.
Netizens on social media were angered about certain dialogues used in 'Adipurush' which later on were revised and released. Dialogue writer of 'Adipurush' Manoj Muntashir also apologized on social media following the backlash and was provided with security as well amidst the backlash received.
Talking about 'OMG 2', there is no clarity about what dialogues or scenes will be edited which might cause problems at the box office, however, once the film goes to the revision panel, the censor board will take its decision and will lift the ban.

'OMG 2' is directed by Amit Rai and features Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva in the film. 'OMG 2' also features Arun Govil from the 'Ramayan' television series and is the official sequel to the 2012 hit film of the same name starring Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal.
The film will face a box office clash with big South Indian releases including Rajinikanth's 'Jailer', and Chiranjeevi's 'Bholaa Shankar' respectively.
