Akshay Kumar returns with another promising blockbuster 'OMG 2' directed by Amit Rai. The film also features Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in lead roles and is set to release on August 11. 'OMG 2' is the sequel to Akshay Kumar's popular film 'OMG' released in 2012, and featured Paresh Rawal in the lead role.
The makers of 'OMG 2' finally unveiled the first official teaser of the film giving the viewers a glimpse of the plotline and characters. In the released teaser, Akshay Kumar can be seen essaying the role of Lord Shiva, and Pankaj Tripathi, a keen devotee towards his deities, however finding himself in the midst of a haphazard despite believing in gods.

Unlike the first installment of the film, actor Paresh Rawal was portrayed as an atheist, and Akshay Kumar as Lord Vishnu. Akshay Kumar's character via the eye of the court helped Paresh Rawal to regain his belief, but with the satisfaction to be selfless.
The first film shed light on religion and faith, whereas the second installment will focus more on social challenges. 'OMG 2' also features Govind Namdev, who played an agitated Sadhu in the first part. Actor Arun Govil will also be part of the second installment and will essay the role of Lord Ram.

The above teaser will be attached to Tom Cruise's 'Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1' releasing on July 12. However, 'OMG 2' will be locking horns with Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2' and popular South Indian releases including Rajinikanth's 'Jailer', and Chiranjeevi's 'Bholaa Shankar' respectively.
