Oppenheimer Vs Barbie Box Office Collection: Margot Robbie Starrer Runs Behind Christopher Nolan’s Directorial On Day 6

 'Oppenheimer' features Cillian Murphy and 'Barbie' starring Margot Robbie are facing an intense box office clash across the globe. Both the films are doing extremely well at the box office with 'Oppenheimer' minting higher numbers in India, whereas 'Barbie' churning higher numbers globally.

'Barbie' gave tough competition to Christopher Nolan's film and is based upon Mattel's Barbie doll induced with issues of feminism and is an ode to womanhood. The film earned around Rs 2.30 crore on day 6 taking the box office figures in India around Rs 25.55 crore. The film saw a huge start in its first weekend and since then is earning around Rs 2.5 crore every day.

On the other hand Christopher Nolan's 'Oppenheimer' emerged to be the first choice of the viewers. Based on the life of Robert J. Oppenheimer, an American scientist and father of the 'atom bomb', the film is a mind-boggling biopic.

The film opened at a whopping Rs 14.5 crore in India, and on day 6, it collected Rs 5.85 crore taking the total to Rs 67.85 crore in India. However, it is expected to collect around Rs 75-80 crore before it enters into its second box office run in India.

'Oppenheimer' features Cillian Murphy in the lead role. The film also stars Robert Downey Jr, Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh, and Matt Damon in pivotal roles. Despite the differences, Indian viewers and both films are running strong at the box office.
