Oscars 2025: The nominees for the 97th Academy Awards were officially announced on Thursday, January 23. Bowen Yang and Rachel Sennott revealed the nominations live from the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater. The announcement, originally scheduled for January 17, was postponed due to the Los Angeles wildfires.

Emilia Pérez leads the pack with a historic 13 nominations, setting a record as the most-nominated non-English language film in Oscar history. Close behind are Wicked and The Brutalist, each earning 10 nominations. This year’s Oscars will be hosted by Conan O’Brien and broadcast live from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood on Sunday, March 2, starting at 7 PM ET (March 3, 5:30 AM IST) on ABC and Hulu.
