What Is The Story Of Akhanda 2 About?
Directed by Boyapati Sreenu, Akhanda 2: Thaandavam arrives on screen with a grander scale and more intense action. The film continues the mystical universe created in the 2021 blockbuster. Balakrishna made a powerful comeback in a dual role, portraying a divine Aghora warrior who takes on evil forces in the Himalayan terrains. The story revolves around protecting India from an attack plotted by a neighbouring nation to destroy what they believe is the country's spiritual backbone, Sanatana Dharma. Their dangerous plans include a massive biowarfare operation targeting the Maha Kumbh Mela, sending the nation into crisis.
Besides Balakrishna, Akhanda 2 also stars Samyuktha Menon, Aadhi Pinisetty and Harshaali Malhotra. The storyline, devotional action and dialogues are further elevated with music composed by Thaman S.
What Is The Budget Of Akhanda 2?
This film marks the fourth collaboration between Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Srinu. Their previous hits include Simha, Legend and Akhanda. The Akhanda sequel was reportedly made on a budget of 200 crores.
The movie is currently facing a major box office clash with Kapil Sharma’s Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 and Ranveer Singh’s recently released action movie Dhurandhar.
