Alappuzha Gymkhana OTT Release: Khalid Rahman's 2025 sports drama Alappuzha Gymkhana was well received by viewers right once, resulting in sold-out performances and strong box office results. The Malayalam movie centers on Naslen's character, Jojo Johnson, a student who tries to get in through sports quota after failing exams. He embarks on a voyage of self-discovery, new relationships, and a bruised face to reality after enrolling in boxing. But when the competition heats up, things change. Alappuzha Gymkhana has presented a powerful plot with an intensely emotional narrative.

Alappuzha Gymkhana To Arrive Early On SonyLIV

The highly anticipated June 13th OTT release of Alappuzha Gymkhana on SonyLIV is now expected to happen earlier. According to OTT Trackers, the Malayalam sports drama starring Naslen will be available to stream in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi starting at 2:00 PM today on SonyLIV. 

Alappuzha Gymkhana and the Basil Joseph-starring Maranamass and Mammootty's Bazooka were released in theaters on April 10, 2025. As per industry tracker, sacnilk estimates that Alappuzha Gymkhana's final global box office receipts was Rs 70.6 crore. The Naslen-starring movie's gross receipts in India total Rs 50.6 crore, while its international receipts total Rs 20 crore. The Malayalam sports comedy brought in a total of Rs 40.09 crore at the box office.

Alappuzha Gymkhana Cast And Plot

With Naslen in the lead role and Lukman Avaran and Shine in supporting roles, this film boasts an incredible star cast. Baby Jean, Ganapathi, Noila Francy, Franco Francis, Tom Chacko, and others.  Khalid Rahman, Ratheesh Ravi, and Sreeni Saseedran are the faces behind Alappuzha Gymkhana's direction. Vishnu Vijay is the film's music composer, while Jimshi Khalid created the film's photography.

In the heartwarming story of Alappuzha Gymkhana, students who have just failed exams try to gain admission by fulfilling their sports quota. The main character of the film is Naslen's character, Jojo Johnson, who starts boxing and becomes fortunate after winning district fights. As the rivalry heats up, his world is about to turn upside down, even as he enjoys his winning streak and newfound contacts. As the competition draws closer, Jojo and his pals meet Coach Antony Joshua, who gives them rigorous, disciplined training. Observing his journey of inner and exterior transformation is worthwhile.
