Azadi OTT Release: Azadi, a Malayalam action thriller, was widely praised by critics for its screenplay when it was released on May 23, 2025. The movie, which opened to positive reviews, depicts the struggle for the innocents' survival in the face of a bold jail break-in attempt. Actor Sreenath Bhasi starrer is now preparing to stream on OTT platorm shortly.

Azadi movie's trailer suggested that the drama of survival and punishment takes place in a hospital. Renowned voice actor Raveena portrays an expectant mother who is jailed for killing a political leader's son in his own home, while Lal seems to be a father seeking justice for his daughter. Sreenath Bhasi plays a fierce character who wants revenge.

Where To Watch Azadi?

Azadi makers had teamed up with Manorama Max as its OTT streaming partner before its May release. The Malayalam movie based on prison break is scheduled to make its digital debut in June 2025. However, no official confirmation regarding the same has been made.

Azadi's movie poster was dropped on the OTT platform's social media account to announce the release but the precise date is still up in the air.

About Azadi Movie

The main character, Ganga, is admitted to Kottayam Medical College, where Azadi takes place. In addition to being accused of killing a political leader's son, she is pregnant and set to give birth. Hours after her admission, her husband Raghu, with the assistance of hospital insiders, devises a 24-hour creative plan to try to break his wife Ganga out of prison and get away from the law.

However, as their enemies invade the hospital grounds, Raghu and Ganga's eerie past catches up with them in the middle of their audacious adventure. This makes everything more complicated because the couple is fundamentally fighting for their lives.

Jo George makes his directorial debut with this movie, which also stars Saiju Kurup in a significant role. Vijayakumar, Mala Parvathi, Gilu Joseph, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, TG Ravi, Rajesh Sharma, Asha Madathil, Shobi Thilakan, Boban Samuel, Abin Bino, and Sabu Praudeen are some of Azadi's supporting cast members. The thriller's screenplay was written by director Sagar. Veekam and Sathyam Mathrame Bodhippikku, starring Dhyan Sreenivasan, are among his previous flicks. This film was funded by Faizal Raja under the Little Crew Production label.
