Baramulla On OTT: Netflix has announced the release of its upcoming supernatural mystery movie Baramulla, starring Manav Kaul and Bhasha Sumbli. The film, directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, is set to premiere on November 7. Produced by Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios in collaboration with Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar of B62 Studios, Baramulla promises to deliver an emotional yet thrilling cinematic experience. Baramulla also marks the second collaboration between Netflix and B62 Studios after the 2024 romantic comedy Dhoom Dhaam. The film’s production design, cinematography, and atmosphere aim to capture both the haunting beauty and the unease of the Kashmir valley.
Set in the snow-covered landscapes of Kashmir’s Baramulla valley, the film follows DSP Ridwaan Sayyed, played by Manav Kaul, a police officer recently transferred to the area. Soon after his arrival, he is drawn into the mysterious case of a missing boy. As he digs deeper, the investigation takes a dark and unexpected turn, intertwining local legends, family drama, and supernatural forces. As Ridwaan and his family move into an old, dilapidated house, strange occurrences begin to disturb their peace. Haunted by his own past, he finds himself confronting not only the mysteries surrounding the case but also his inner demons. The story explores how myth, memory, and reality blur together in the tension-filled setting of the valley.
