Detective Ujjwalan OTT Release Date: Dhyan Sreenivasan and Siju Wilson starrer Malayalam mystery drama made its theatrical debut on May 23. It didn’t receive a good response upon its arrival on the big screens. Directed by Indraneel Gopeekrishnan and Rahul G, the movie has making headlines for its digital premiere following its box office disappoinment, Amid the OTT buzz, the makers have announced the Detective Ujjwalan streaming date and where it will be accessible for the viewers online.

When And Where To Watch Detective Ujjwalan Online?

Dhyan Sreenivasan and Siju Wilson's film is all set to stream on OTT giant Netflix from July 11. It will be available only in its original Malayalam language on the platform. Announcing the Detective Ujjwalan OTT release date, the streaming platform on X posted, “Case endhaayalum Ujjwalan is always standing on business. Watch Detective Ujjwalan on Netflix, out 11 July in Malayalam." Soon after the announcement, fans requested dub versions in different languages, too. One user wrote, "Dubbed into regional languages please." Another user commented, "Sir Hindi dubbed mein bhi release hoga na."

Detective Ujjwalan Plot Details

Set in the village of Plaachikkaavu, the story follows Ujjwalan, a local detective, played Dhyan Sreenivasan and how he outwits a mysterious figure in a high-stakes battle of intelligence. The movie unfolds a series of challenging events and crimes in the village, testing Ujjwalan’s investigative skills and intellect. Ujjwalan is usually tasked with finding lost items or handling minor matters, but he's determined to crack a bigger case and eventually he does. He tracked not only Boogeyman but his gang too.

Detective Ujjwalan Cast And Crew Members

Written and directed by Indraneel Gopeekrishnan and Rahul G. The story was brought to life by actors Dhyan Sreenivasan alongside Siju Wilson and Rony David Raj in key roles. It is produced by Sophia Paul under the Weekend Blockbusters banner. Detective Ujjwalan is the second instalment in the Weekend Cinematic Universe, following the 2021 superhero film Minnal Murali.
