Dies Irae OTT Release: Pranav Mohanlal and Manohari Joy starrer psychological horror thriller Dies Irae was released in theatres on October 31. This Malayalam blockbuster movie is all set to make its way to digital platforms. Ever since its theatrical release, reports of its OTT premiere have been surfacing online, sparking curiosity and excitement among viewers. Dies Irae was lauded for its screenplay, cinematic experience, performances and filmmaker Rahul Sadasivan's storytelling. Netizens hailed it as a perfect gift during the Halloween season treat. Following its successful theatrical run, the makers have officially announced the OTT release date and platform.

When And Where To Watch Dies Irae Online?

Pranav Mohanlal starrer Dies Irae will begin streaming on JioHotstar from December 5, 2025. The streaming platform recently announced the OTT update with a new motion poster along with the caption. “The Day of Wrath is here." The film will be released in five languages, including Malayalam (original), Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

What Is Story About Dies Irae?

This Malayalam revolves around Rohan Shankar, a wealthy Indo-American architect played by Pranav Mohanlal. Rohan enjoys a quiet, privileged life until a series of dramatic and unexplained supernatural events begin to disrupt his world. Things take a darker turn after the news breaks of the suicide of his former classmate Kani, a Bharatanatyam dancer, played by Sushmitha Bhat. After visiting Kani's home and taking a hair clip as a memory, it soon became a source of terrifying supernatural occurrences. Rohan uncovers the truth behind Kani's death, and he takes help from a neighbour and traditional exorcist, Madhu Potti. He discovers dark secrets like revenge, hidden forces and sinister mysteries tied to the past.

Dies Irae Cast And Crew

Pranav Mohanlal headlined the movie and received praise for his powerful performance and was joined by a cast including Gibin Gopinath, Manohari Joy, Arun Ajikumar, Jaya Kurup, Sreedhanya, Madan Babu, and Saiju Kurup in key roles. The film is directed by Rahul Sadasivan, known for delivering horror genre films like Red Rain, Bhoothakaalam, and Bramayugam. Dies Irae is backed by producers Chakravarthy Ramachandra and S. Shashikanth under Night Shift Studios and Y Not Studios.

Dies Irae Box Office Report

Released on October 31, Pranav Mohanlal and Rahul Sadasivan's first collaboration earned Rs 82.04 crore worldwide, with an India net collection of Rs 41.24 crore, making it one of the highest-grossing Malayalam films of the year.
