F1: The Movie is now streaming on OTT. The movie stars Brad Pitt as retired Formula 1 driver Sonny Hayes, who is pulled back into the sport to save an underdog team led by Rubén Cervantes (Javier Bardem). Joseph Kosinski’s film, which premiered in theaters in June, quickly became a major box-office success, earning an impressive $629 million worldwide. The movie also gained attention for featuring several real-life Formula 1 personalities, including top drivers such as Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton and newly crowned champion Lando Norris, adding authenticity and excitement for racing fans.
Although produced by Apple Studios, the film enjoyed an unusually long theatrical run, staying on the big screen for more than 14 weeks. Now, after months of anticipation, it is finally set to be available for home viewing — and this time, audiences can watch it without paying for a premium rental.

F1: The Movie is now streaming on Apple TV. The standalone service costs $12.99 a month or $99 for an annual subscription.
F1 premiered at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on June 16, 2025, before hitting U.S. theaters on June 27 through Warner Bros. Pictures and Apple Original Films. The movie was met with strong critical acclaim and went on to earn an impressive $631.5 million worldwide on a production budget of $200–300 million.
Its success set multiple records: it became the eighth-highest-grossing film of 2025, the biggest auto-racing film ever made, the highest-grossing movie for Apple Studios, and the most successful film of Brad Pitt’s career. The National Board of Review also recognized F1 as one of the year’s top ten films.
