Kaalidhar Laapata On OTT: Abhishek Bachchan, who has become the talk of the town for his latest stint in Housefull 5, recently announced a new movie named Kaalidhar Laapata. The actor has unveiled a new poster where he can be seen as a middle-aged middle-class man sitting on a bunch of a tree with a child. It seems the film is a slice-of-life drama. Kaalidhar Laapata is a Zee5 original movie which is slated to be released on July 4. While announcing the news of the film, Abhishek wrote on Instagram, “Charchayon par ab full stop! About Kaalidhar Laapata
The plot is set against the backdrop of rural India, which focuses on a man named Kaalidhar. He is a middle-aged man, who gets to know that his family is conspiring to abandon him. After learning the truth, he chooses to elope, which leads to an encounter with an 8-year-old orphan boy. This unfolds a heartwarming story of bond and self-discovery. The movie also features Daivik Bhagela and Zeeshan Ayyub. It has been directed by Madhumita and backed by Zee Studios.
