Kannappa OTT Release: Vishnu Manchu’s multistarrer movie initially released in theatres on June 27 with a lot of expectations. But the film failed to gather audience at theatres after a few days of release. Kannappa has a stellar cast of actors, including Vishnu Manchu, Prabhas, Mohan Babu, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal and Kajal Aggarwal, which raised people’s expectations about the film apart from its devotional genre and plotline. However, the film could not make an impact at the box office. Now, in less than a month of theatrical release, Kannappa has been making buzz for its OTT release.

As per latest reports, Kannappa is set to arrive on Prime Video on July 25. Well, that’s quite early for movie’s OTT release. As Vishnu Manchu, during promotional events of the film, said “Kannappa will not be released on OTT at least for ten weeks. I have decided to bring the film to the audience first and want to give a great experience to them. I am happy that I do not have the OTT release pressure and there will be a 10-week window.” The sudden buzz about the film’s digital debut might be due to its box office failure. However, an official confirmation about Kannappa’s OTT release is awaited.
