Lokah Chapter 1 OTT Release: Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra is the highest-grossing Malayalam movie of 2025. The superhit movie's growth was fueled by positive word-of-mouth, which debuted in theaters on August 28, 2025. The first installment of a projected five-part fantasy film universe is Lokah Chapter 1, which stars Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen in the key roles. The Malayalam movie, which was written and directed by Dominic Arun, has done well at the box office and will soon be available on streaming service.

Lokah Chapter 1 is now a huge hit in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada in addition to Malayalam. The tale surrounding Kalliyankattu Neeli, a renowned character in Keralan history, served as the basis for the novel. In addition, Chandu Salimkumar, Arun Kurian, Sandy Master, and Nishanth Sagar are featured in the film.

Lokah Chapter 1 brought in about Rs 155.84 crore in India and Rs 302.11 crore worldwide, as per sacnilk. Dulquer Salmaan acknowledged in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India that the success of the movie was beyond all expectations.

Naslen excels in his supporting role, and Kalyani Priyadarshan gives a strong performance as Chandra, a young woman torn between duty and fate. Dulquer Salmaan and Tovino Thomas both make appearances in the movie, both of whom have significant roles that relate to the greater Lokah universe.

The Malayalam superhero movie narrates the tale of an average man who suddenly learns he has superhuman skills, which sets him on a path of sacrifice and devotion. The distinction between his personal life and his duties as a defender is blurred as he learns to use his abilities and gets entangled in a conflict against forces that pose a threat to humanity. The movie offers a new interpretation of the superhero genre in Indian cinema by combining action, drama, and spectacle with themes of heroism, identity, and destiny.
