Lokah Chapter 1 OTT Release: Kalyani Priyadarshan’s Lokah Chapter 1 is all set to make its grand digital debut. After becoming a box office sensation, the film will now stream exclusively on JioHotstar from October 31, 2025. The streaming platform announced the news on social media with the caption, “The world of Lokah unfolds exclusively on JioHotstar, streaming from October 31st.” The film will be available in multiple dubbed languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, and Marathi, ensuring a wider audience can enjoy India’s first female superhero movie.

Ever since its theatrical release on August 28, 2025, Lokah Chapter 1 has broken several records and become the highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time. Made on a budget of ₹30 crore, the film collected a whopping ₹301.45 crore worldwide, including ₹119.6 crore from overseas markets. Fans on X (formerly Twitter) and Reddit had been eagerly waiting for its OTT release, frequently tagging JioHotstar in posts asking for an update. Once the release date was announced, excitement flooded social media with comments like, “Finally!”, “Eagerly waiting to watch,” and “The wait is over.”

Directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer Salmaan under Wayfarer Films, Lokah Chapter 1 tells the story of a young woman who discovers mystical powers while navigating personal struggles. She learns to use her newfound abilities to fight against dark forces threatening the world. The film’s powerful narrative, impressive visuals, and Kalyani Priyadarshan’s strong performance were widely praised by both critics and audiences. The cast also includes Naslen, Sandy, Chandu, Arun Kurian, Shanti Balachandran, and Sharafudheen in key roles, with the screenplay co-written by Dominic Arun and Santhy Balachandran.
