Raja Shivaji is based on the life and legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj—the founder of the Maratha Empire and one of India's most revered historical figures. Renowned for his bravery, military strategy and visionary leadership, Shivaji Maharaj continues to inspire generations across the country to this day.
Set against the backdrop of the 17th century, this film depicts the rise of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The story chronicles how a determined young man made history and emerged as one of India's most revered warrior-kings.
The film also aims to highlight the values and guidance of Rajmata Jijabai, which laid the foundation for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's vision of establishing 'Hindu Swaraj'.
