Retro OTT Release UPDATE: Retro is prepared for its over-the-top (OTT) premiere on May 1st. The Tamil movie received mostly mixed reviews from the audience an critcs. However, Telangana and Tamil Nadu saw fewer screenings a week following its theatrical debut. Fans may now watch Suriya and Pooja Hegde led movie from the comfort of their homes as the romantic actioner will be releasing sooner than expected on Netflix.

Retro is scheduled to launch on digital platforms sooner than anticipated. Netflix has moved forward the release date by one day, and the Tamil romantic action drama will now debut on May 30, 2025, instead of May 31, 2025, as originally planned. Yes, you read that right!

Retro will be streaming on Netflix in Tamil (orignal),  Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

With its OTT release, Retro has a new chance to connect with more people and possibly get the exposure it didn't get before. The reason for the adjustment has not been disclosed by the producers, but it is undoubtedly good news for fans who were anxious to watch the movie online.

Retro centers on a former mobster who is resolved to keep his word to his wife and have a peaceful life. His history is coming back to haunt him, though, and the serenity he has worked so hard to establish is in jeopardy. Suriya's romantic interest in the movie is portrayed by Pooja Hegde. Prominent parts are also played by Jayaram, Joju George, Karunakaran, Nassar, and Prakash Raj. Additionally, actor Shriya Saran makes a surprise appearance.
