Sitaare Zameen Par OTT Release: Aamir Khan reportedly turned down Amazon Prime Video's massive offer of Rs 120 crore for the over-the-top (OTT) release of his next movie, Sitaare Zameen Par. In an effort to entice people to go back to the movies, he has decided to postpone the post-theatrical release  by at least eight weeks. Trade expert Komal Nahta claims that Aamir Khan is boldly opposing the existing trend of early digital releases in an effort to revive India's theatergoing tradition.

With the majority of films appearing on OTT platforms only weeks following their theatrical debut, the film business has witnessed a dramatic change in recent years towards streaming services. Aamir Khan stated that the rapid change has played a part in the drop in moviegoer attendance. A source close to development said as citied by News18 Showsha, "The idea is to make people choose the big screen experience again by not giving them the home-viewing option so soon."

Where To Watch Sitaare Zameen Par?

Sitaare Zameen Par will be accessible on YouTube following its theatrical run, however access will require payment. The precise date of its YouTube debut is unknown, though. It's interesting to note that Aamir Khan has previously declined digital offers. He reportedly turned down a deal with Netflix as well, citing his confidence in a delayed digital paradigm.
