South OTT Movies & Web Series Releasing This Week: Prepare yourself for there will be a ton of movies and web series available this week on OTT platforms including Prime Video, JioHotstar, ManoramaMax and others. From May 19 to 25, you can enjoy a variety of films and web series, including Hunt, Abhilasham, Heart Beat season 2, and many more. From grandiose fantasy and otherworldly horrors to realistic thrillers and tragic dramas, there's something for everyone here!

Hunt

Shaji Kailas is the director of the horror thriller Hunt in Malayalam. Bhavana plays Dr. Keerthi, a forensic postgraduate involved in a horrifying murder mystery that has otherworldly elements. The movie examines tense and terrifying subjects. The cast of Hunt is outstanding and includes Aditi Ravi, Chandhunadh, and Renji Panicker. With cinematography by Jackson Johnson and music by Kailas Menon, the movie offers an engaging visual and aural experience.
Pendulum

Dr. Mahesh Narayanan (played by Vijay Babu), his devoted wife Shweta (played by Devaki Rajendran), and their lone daughter Thanu return to Kochi. Mahesh was discovered unconscious in a hill station where the family was visiting for a day. When he comes to, he says that he was struck by a truck last night and only realised that he was dreaming. Later, Dr. Mahesh tries to solve this mystery with John Master's (Prakash Bare) assistance after realising that his dreams are connected to two other people, Ameer and Angel.
Abhilasham

The movie's protagonist is Abhilash Kumar, a native of Kottakkal who owns and operates an Attar store and courier service. His love interest is Sherin, a single mother and a friend from his school days who has eventually moved back to their hometown. Although Abhilash is very excited about seeing Sherin again, he is also annoyed by his constant hesitancy to show her how he feels. Whether Abhilash will be able to express his love or will fate cause a problem between them again?
Sumo

The story of Sumo centres on Ganesh (Yoshinori Tashiro), a sumo champion wrestler who washes up on the coast close to Chennai and has no recollection of his history. Jack (VTV Ganesh) and Shiva (Shiva), two locals, find him and initially use Ganesh's strength for a variety of humorous money-making schemes. As they come to like him, they start learning more about his past, which includes the fact that he was previously a sumo champion in Japan before being forcibly removed from the sport. Shiva and his friends are determined to help him recover his lost identity, so they accompany Ganesh to Japan, where he confronts his former adversaries in an attempt to atone.
Heart Beat 2

A group of doctors known as HeartBeat are committed to their work in a multispecialty hospital. Season 2 of this medical drama revisits the demanding world of surgical trainees at RK Multispeciality Hospital as they attempt to strike a balance between leadership, life, and loss. The narrative centres on personal stakes and the hectic lives of doctors who face medical situations that test their fortitude, morality, and decision-making skills that could make or ruin their careers. Throughout season 1, the viewer is captivated by the story's emotive approach and compelling narrative.
