According to a report in Mint, Superman starring David Corenswet is coming to HBO Max, but the release date hasn't been officially announced yet. Typically, Warner Bros movies arrive on Premium Video on Demand (PVOD) about six weeks after their theatrical release. If we follow this pattern, and considering "Superman" has already hit theaters, it's possible that the PVOD release might be around late August 2025.
Superman OTT Release (India)
In India, Superman is likely to become available on digital platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV and YouTube Movies for purchase or rent by late August or early September 2025, following typical release patterns, according to report.
Superman Box Office Collection
Superman is enjoying successful run at the worldwide box office. According to Deadline, the film has collected $125 million domestically and $95 million internationally, totaling $220 million at the global box office as of Sunday.
The new Superman movie comes with a hefty budget of $225 million. According to industry insiders, such as a top agent who spoke to TheWrap, the film will need to cross the $700 million mark globally to be considered a commercial success.
