Thammudu OTT Release: Nithiin's upcoming Telugu movie, Thammudu, is set to release on July 4, 2025. Produced by Dil Raju with a budget of Rs. 35 crores, the movie shares its name with Pawan Kalyan's popular 1999 sports action drama. However, this upcoming Thammudu is expected to focus more on emotional depth than pure action.
Amazon Prime Video has reportedly acquired the OTT rights for the Telugu movie, slated for release after its theatrical run. If the movie underperforms at the box office, its OTT debut will occur sooner than the standard four-week window. The makers are currently keeping many details about the upcoming film under wraps.

Telugu Movie Thammudu’s Plot
The narrative unfolds in Ambaragodugu, a village where an unseen, powerful entity traps its innocent inhabitants, preventing them from leaving. Amidst this grim reality emerges Kantara, a spirited young woman who galvanizes the villagers to break free from their destined confinement. She is joined by Nithiin's character, a grief-stricken brother determined to fulfill his sister's unkept promise. His sister had previously vowed to free the villagers but failed; he returns, vowing to liberate everyone from their tyrannical fate.
Telugu Movie Thammudu’s Cast And Crew
Directed by Sriram Venu and produced by Dil Raju, the Telugu movie features Nithiin in the lead role, supported by Sapthami Gowda, Laya, Varsha Bollamma, Saurabh Sachdeva, and Swasika. The musical score is composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath.
