Virunnu OTT Release: The Malayalam mystery thriller Virunnu, featuring Arjun Sarja, has broadened its digital reach and is now streaming on additional OTT platforms, making it more accessible to audiences worldwide. After its theatrical release in August 2024, the movie made its digital debut and has now expanded its presence. With positive reviews praising its gripping storyline and compelling performances, the movie promises a suspenseful viewing experience for fans of the genre.

Virunnu is now set to stream on Simply South on May 30, offering international viewers a chance to stream the Malayalam movie. However, the platform’s access is restricted in India. Simply South made the announcement via its official X (formerly Twitter) account, and the caption read, “#Virunnu, streaming on Simply South from May 30 worldwide, excluding India.”

About the Malayalam Movie Virunnu

The story centres on the mysterious death of businessman John Kalathil. As the investigation unfolds, his wife Elizabeth also dies under suspicious circumstances. Before passing away, she entrusts a message to auto driver Hemanth, urging him to meet someone called Comrade Balettan. What follows is Hemanth’s quest to unravel the truth behind both deaths, leading to a suspense-filled narrative.

Meanwhile, the Malayalam movie features a strong ensemble cast including Sona Nair, Nikki Galrani, Mukesh, Aju Varghese, Baiju Santhosh, and Hareesh Peradi. Written by Dinesh Pallath and directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam, Virunnu is produced under the Neyyar Films banner with music by Ronnie Raphael.
