Oy Movie Re-Release: Following the recent trend of movie re-releases, Siddharth and Shamili cult classic Telugu romantic drama Oy is making its way back to cinemas. Directed by Anand Ranga, the film originally released on July 3, 2009. The movie offers a cinematic spectacle that explores themes of love, music, drama and self-discovery. Although the film didn’t perform well at the box office initially, it has since gained significant success. If you missed it then, now you have the chance to experience it in theatres.
In a recently released post, the makers revealed the surprise re-release date of Oy, starring Siddharth and Shamili in lead roles. The film’s production house, DVV Entertainment, announced the re-release on its X handle, writing, "Sehari….Celebration. In theatres on Feb 26th," along with the movie poster.

About Oy Movie
Directed by Anand Ranga, who also co-penned the screenplay alongside Simha Raja and Rajasimha Tadinada, the film revolves around the story of a rich, spoiled brat who falls in love with a simple girl at first sight. Uday (played by Siddharth), a young man with a “life is short” philosophy, becomes the chairman of a company after his father’s death. During a New Year party, he falls in love with a girl named Sandhya. After searching for her, Uday learns that she is ill. He sets out to make the most of her time and fulfill all her desires. The journey of the lead actors is filled with challenges, chaos, and drama.
In addition to Siddharth and Shamili, the movie’s star cast includes Sunil, Ali, Napoleon, Pradeep Rawat, Krishnudu, MS Narayana, and Tanikella Bharani, among others in key roles. Film's music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, which apart from the storyline captivated the moviebuffs.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the re-release of Oy, which is set to hit cinemas on February 26.
